“Intuit” Scam Email

There’s a new scam email going around that claims to be from Intuit (the makers of QuickBooks and Quicken). Do not open any links on the email! This is not valid and should be deleted! If you have any questions, Intuit’s real phone number is (877) 683-3280. The wording of the email (at least a portion of it) is below:

Dear Client:

Thank you for buying your accounting software from Intuit Market. We are working on and will message you when your order ships. If you ordered multiple items, we may send them in more than one shipment (at no extra cost to you) to provide faster processing time.

If you have questions about your order, please call 1-800-955-8890.
